The second edition of the Code4Green Hackathon will gather Europe’s brightest minds to find innovative and data-based solutions to ecological challenges.
Students, innovators, designers, scientists and entrepreneurs from all over Europe are invited to participate. Competitors will be divided into groups of 5-7 people; they will code and present a prototype on how to use European environmental data for sustainable digital solutions.
The event, organized by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU), will take place online from 10 to 12 July.
The three winning teams will receive a total of €10,000, three months of tailored coaching to develop their prototypes and the opportunity to present their solutions to the European environmental ministers in Berlin, at the beginning of October.
