The Earth observation (EO) and Geoinformatics (GI) sector is rapidly evolving due to technological advances, growing collections of open data (e.g. Copernicus), and a broader user base. This evolution requires the adaptation of EO/GI training for matching the demanded skills on the market. EO4GEO invites all organisations operating in the space/geospatial sector to participate in the following surveys on supply and demand of education and training in EO/GI. EO4GEO kick-off meeting

The EO4GEO kick-off meeting took place on January 16th to 17th 2018 and was hosted by Italian Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (CNR) and led by the GISIG-international group in Milan, Italy. At least 60 participants had the opportunity to discuss the first strategic and practical actions of the project with several partners involved in the 10 work packages and to present the work objectives and outlines for each work package.
